Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Cairo

Welcome to the start of your tour! Meet, greet & assistance by our representative who will help you through immigration and customs formalities.

Collect your luggage; then you will be transfers in our deluxe, air-conditioned vehicle to your Cairo hotel, relax, refresh & then you will be driven to visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, the famed monuments of the entire ancient world! These massive stone structures were built around 4,500 years ago on a rocky desert plateau close to the Nile.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. That is not all for today, will have a remarkable visit to the Egyptian Museum, where you can gaze at the wonders of King Tutankhamen, including his golden mask; you can ask for an entry to the Mummies room (optional tour). Transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Islamic & Coptic Cairo – Train Ride to Aswan

Enjoy your breakfast, today will have a new adventure where you discover the Coptic part of Cairo, The Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, both churches built into the walls of the Fort of Babylon and its remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures; the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), it is said, the Holy Family took lodging in a cave. This whole area is a world famous destination for Pilgrims.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant then another visit to the Citadel of Saladin. The fortress has been built between 1176 & 1183 AD, for protection purposes, protecting Cairo from Crusaders, it has been rebuilt by Mohamed Ali Pacha, his well-known Mosque “Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali”.

Enjoy a free tour at Khan el Khalili Bazaars, the oldest bazaar for antiquities where you will find the tents makers, leather makers, and customs of belly dancers, galabyas, more & more…Transfer to Giza railway station for an enjoyable train ride to Aswan. Overnight on board train

Day 3: Arrival Aswan – Nile Cruise

Arrival Aswan, you will be met and assisted by our representative who will transfer you to your cruise boat for a 3 nights amazing Nile Cruise trip.

After lunch a visit of the High Dam, the world’s largest rock filled dam, and then a short sail to the Temple of Philae, moved to the island of Agilika after the waters of Lake Nasser flooded its original location. It is then back to Aswan to rejoin your cruise and as the Nile laps gently underneath you, dinner will be served on board.

Day 4: Nile Cruise Kom Ombo & Edfu

A new day is a new adventure, a new spot to explore. Your first breakfast on board as the boat sails majestically towards Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Double Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to both gods Horus & Sobek. Transfer back to your Nile cruise, enjoy lunch while it sails onward to Edfu, home of the best preserved temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus. After your visit to this outstanding temple you will be taken back to the boat. Enjoy the sundeck by sunset!
Once you reach Esna you can watch as it sails through the Esna locks. Cruise will continue on its course towards Luxor, evening arrival at Luxor.

Day 5: Nile Cruise -West Bank in Luxor

An early breakfast and then it is time to visit the West Bank of Luxor,will start with a visit to the tombs in the Valley of the Kings; the superb Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahri, ending our tour with the enormous Colossi of Memnon.

After enjoying lunch on board, you will visit the splendid Temple ofKarnak Complex and Luxor Temples. Once your tour is completed will transfer you back to the Nile Cruise for dinner & overnight.

Day 6: Train ride back to Cairo

Last breakfast on board, cruise disembarkation on the due time which is 12:00 noontime, a good chance for an ‘Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride” to soar over the City watching the mighty Nile, the old houses, schools & a different view of the monuments, rest of the day at your disposal. Or maybe you prefer to discover more secrets at the Mummification Museum in Luxor; those tours could be easily arranged by your tour guide on the spot!

Transfer to Luxor railway station for a pleasant ride back to Cairo, dinner is served as the famous city vanishes out of your sight!

Day 7: Arrival Cairo / Final departure

Breakfast will be served on board train; arrival estimated time is 9 am where you will be met by our representative and transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
